At Babies R Us we believe we have curated a best-in-class assortment for all your baby and new parent needs; but if something is not quite a good fit for you or your family, we will accept returns for a full refund within 90 days for most items with an original receipt.
Most unopened items sold by Babies “R” Us in new condition and returned within 90 days with an original receipt will receive a refund or exchange.
We know new parents plan for the arrival of their new bundle of joy months in advance so for most registry items purchased from your Babies “R” Us American Dream registry a store credit will be offered within 120 days of your event.
All products should be in new condition (unopened, in original packaging with tags attached) to receive a potential refund or exchange.
Some items have a modified return policy. Items that are opened or damaged or do not have a receipt will be denied a refund or exchange.
The return window for items sold online begins when the order is shipped.
The following items are not eligible for a refund and can not be returned:
- Personalized items and digital downloads
- Opened/unsealed breast pumps
- Used/opened mattresses
- Gift cards
- Products deemed final sale
- Shipping/delivery/assembly charges
- Gift wrap
- Expired perishable items
- Halloween costumes & accessories
- Open or defective collectibles (e.g., special edition Barbie dolls, porcelain dolls, action figures and die-cast cars)
- Trading cards & trading card accessories opened or unopened (e.g., Pokemon, Sport cards, trading card binders)
- Home diagnostic testing kits
- Tickets for classes
- Unless specified, electronic games and software downloads
The following items are eligible only for exchange if opened or used:
- Music, movies, video games and software (exchange for same title, for same or different gaming platform)
- Airbeds (exchange for similar item)
- Durable medical equipment
The following items have a shorter window for returns and exchanges:
- Electronics, technology and entertainment items must be returned/exchanged within 30 days.
- Holiday or seasonal products cannot be returned post actual holiday
Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment.
Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a merchandise credit in the amount on the gift receipt.

Please note that return on furniture is NOT guaranteed.
Customer is liable for cost of return shipping on furniture items, unless the item is being returned as a result of our error (e.g. damaged, defective, wrong item sent, etc.) We are not responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged in transit by the return shipping company.
Items must be in their original condition and include all parts, accessories, and packaging.
All returns on furniture are subject to a restocking fee of 15% of the product’s purchase value plus shipping fee.
Once the return is received at our warehouse, we will process the refund with appropriate fees deducted to your original payment method.
